FBC Seeks A Pastor
Free Baptist Church is seeking a pastor who envisions an ever-growing church and sees the world around him as a mission field. Someone who desires the church to not just grow but thrive as a collective outreach to the community and beyond, operating as one in the body of Christ.
We are searching for a man who will shepherd the entire congregation while seeking a personal relationship with each member. A pastor who welcomes all with the warmth of a returning friend. A man who leads by example in both his professional and personal life. One who walks by faith while standing firmly on biblical principles.
We are seeking a Pastor who: 1) will maintain our heritage of Solid Biblical Preaching and Teaching; 2) will equip, inspire, and evangelize the congregation; and 3) believes the Bible to be the only authoritative scriptures of God, as being inspired, infallible, and inerrant in their original writings. We look forward to a Pastor who comes prepared to share the Word of God and applies his conviction, creativity and joy to delivering it in a variety of formats.

Pastor Charles Storey - Pastor Emeritus
Pastor Charles Storey is a 1988 graduate of New Brunswick Bible Institute, of N.B., Canada. He and his wife, Theresa were trained & worked in Youth Ministries in N.H. before attending NBBI. They have three adult children and nine grandchildren. They served in the pastorate of Free Baptist Church for thirty-seven years and have felt blessed to be part of this congregation. Pastor Storey has entered into retirement and FBC wishes them the best as they transition to their new phase of life.
"It is a privilege to Pastor the people of Free Baptist and community of East Waterboro. We live in a day when people are confused in their search for spiritual truth. It is our purpose to present the word of God with clarity. The people here at FBC have found that God can meet their deepest needs and provide the joy, love, peace and hope they have longed for. I am so thankful for the present growth that has allowed us to develop godly leadership and warm Christian fellowship.
